Job Title: Humanities Teacher
Location: R.E.A.L. Alternative Provision
Weeks: 39 weeks, term time only
Salary: £21,000 – £28,000
We seek to appoint a qualified humanities teacher to work across the East Midlands on a permanent and full time basis. It is essential that the appointed Teacher be able to deliver the new functional skills framework.
The role will involve the planning and delivery of quality programmes of study to learners who are hard to engage or have additional needs. Teaching is delivered in 1:1 settings and small nurture groups in a variety of community environments, so access to a suitable vehicle to transport children is essential. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate high expectations for all young people and have a proven history in achieving outcomes for learners.
The successful candidate should have three years experience of working with children and young people or vulnerable adults within an education. You should also be able to evidence and experience of supporting young people or vulnerable adults with their learning through innovative approaches to lesson delivery.
